Backend & data
Building account and product operations, protecting related data changes, and integrating services.
Node.js · TypeScript · NestJS · Scala · PostgreSQL · MySQLSee it in the work →I’m a product engineer who cares about the experience on the other side of the code. My work has taken me through recruiting and applied AI, audio in physical spaces, payments, and business operations.
Node.js and TypeScript are central to my backend work. At Torre, I also worked in Scala and Vue, from model generation and evaluation through to the profile people read. At Naistro, that work reached Python players in physical venues. I’m comfortable following a problem beyond the service where it first appears.
I want to know why a change matters, how it fits into the existing product, and what could stop it from working for someone. That means following a problem across boundaries when necessary—from an interface to an API, from a background job to stored data, or from a model’s answer back to its evidence.
Much of my work has been inside established products. At Naistro, improving audio processing also meant keeping older players supplied with compatible files. At Torre, a change to matching explanations had to agree across backend responses and several product views.
At CredPal, I worked with product, finance, and support on billing flows. At OurPass, compliance and operations informed the verification work. Their requirements affected what the APIs needed to do and how failures needed to be handled.
While working on AI-assisted profiles, I compared generated content with the person’s original experience. Evaluations needed to catch both invented claims and useful details that had been removed. That work involved examining failures and revising prompts, as well as integrating the models.
“Not just using AI but keeping a critical mindset in order to get the best out of it.”
“He consistently demonstrated strong technical ability, reliability, and a willingness to take ownership of his work.”
“Bliss doesn't just complete tasks; he takes deep ownership of them, ensuring that the final output is always executed to the highest standard.”
These are tools I’ve worked with, connected to the kinds of problems they helped me solve.

Vue / Nuxt · React · AWS · Docker · SQL analytics · OpenTelemetrySee it in the work →My work at Torre covered how people were found, how their experience was presented, and how the team checked the quality of AI results. I built sitemap improvements and AI-assisted profile features, made matching explanations easier to inspect, and worked on evaluation, tracing, and product measurement.
Read the story →02 / NaistroI moved playlist scheduling and interruption logic from the frontend into backend services. From there, my work covered preparing audio, controlling players remotely, and recording what actually played. Each part had to work with the devices and connections already in the venues.
Read the story →03 / CredPalAt CredPal, I built subscription billing with trials and automated payment updates, integrated payment services, and worked on email and push notifications. I also built the account and planning features behind a membership product, connecting a purchase to something a customer could use.
Read the story →04 / OurPassAt OurPass, I worked with compliance and operations on identity verification and account updates. I maintained Node.js, AWS, and PostgreSQL services, automated review steps, and used validation and SQL transactions to keep related updates consistent. My inventory work used NestJS and PostgreSQL.
